PatternMuse – Circle Skirts

$8.00

Circle skirts are one of the simplest pattern shapes to draft on paper.
This package is for those who want to skip the formulas and go straight to design — or simply get more comfortable with digital pattern making in Seamly2D.

This package is perfect for:

  • beginners who want a gentle entry into digital pattern drafting

  • sewists curious about Seamly2D

  • designers looking for a steady, flexible base

No prior Seamly experience is required — just curiosity.

What’s included

You receive two Seamly2D files, together containing 8 pattern variations:

Circle Skirts with Waistband

  • Quarter circle

  • Half circle

  • Three-quarter circle

  • Full circle

Circle Skirts for Dress Integration

  • Quarter circle

  • Half circle

  • Three-quarter circle

  • Full circle

Each variation is fully parametric and can become countless new designs simply by changing:

  • length

  • ease

  • fabric choice

How it works

  1. Open the Seamly file

  2. Enter your measurements

  3. Choose the skirt variation you want

  4. Adjust length and ease

  5. Print and design

That’s it.

Waistband vs Dress Integration

With Waistband
Designed for standalone skirts, with a shaped waistband and zipper-friendly construction.

For Dress Integration
No waistband. The waist edge includes seam allowance, making it ideal for attaching directly to a bodice block and creating dresses.

Important note on images & results

Images shown are examples only.

Every pattern generated from this system will be shaped by:

  • your measurements

  • your fabric choice

  • your ease values

  • your design decisions

Your garment does not exist until you make it.

We strongly recommend creating a test version and getting familiar with the pattern before cutting into final fabric. This is part of the process, not a mistake.
